• MOTO rain screen framing system will install up to 50% faster than galvanized hat channels, cutting costs dramatically.
• MOTO is made from aluminum that is available anodized for coastal applications. Galvanized metal cannot be used on the coast or in areas of high moisture.
• MOTO profiles do not need to be sealed after cutting or drilling. Galvanized products need to be treated with a sealer after cutting or drilling.
• MOTO has a shape for every situation–inside corners, outside corners, hat channels with optional filler, material transitions, and window and door trims. Galvanized hat channels need to be adapted to every situation.
• MOTO’s simplicity makes the learning curve faster. Special training is not required, saving money on installation.
• MOTO uses blades that are completely reusable. Galvanized hat channels require disposable blades to cut the material.
• MOTO comes in 20-feet lengths whereas galvanized generally comes in 10 feet lengths. 100% of MOTO aluminum cut-offs can be recycled. Scrap galvanized hat channels end up in the landfill.
• Aluminum has a 40-year life expectancy. Galvanized metal has a 15-year life expectancy.
